Magnus Jonson, born in Iceland, raised in Boston, back working as a homicide detective in Iceland, in the Fire and Ice series.
Where The Shadows Lie, is the first in the Fire and Ice series about an Icelandic detective named Magnus. It was published by Corvus in Britain in 2010, and by Minotaur in the US in 2011.
